UPCOMING CASE STUDIES ON GLOBAL COMMERCE

What changes are we seeing in this Global World in this 21st Century?

For example, there are at least 9 million Americans known to be living around the globe and also businesses have gone more e-Commerce around the globe. To give you another example, if you were to see the number of countries listed in the App stores offered on a global playground, there are around 149 countries at this point in time.

In these situations, what happens to various organizations that might be registered in one place, but has offerings that reach a wider audience. Are there case histories of such situations?

To address this topic, while we extend on our earlier article on transformative fair use in a global landscape, we are going to see two case studies soon:

1. GATOR.COM v. L.L. BEAN 341 F. 3d 1072 (9th Cir. 2003)
2. PERFECT 10 v. GOOGLE 2007 U.S. App. LEXIS 11420 (9th Cir. 2007)
