                      Signal Privacy Details:
What information is provided while using this application?
User is expected to register a phone number when this account is created.  This phone number is used to render services for you as well as for other users.  Additionally, the user can add information such as profile name and profile picture.   This information is end-to-end encrypted.

Messages: Behind the scene platform utilized in this application cannot decrypt or access the content of messages and calls. This application through the signal platform also offers a way to queue encrypted messages that are temporarily kept on its servers until delivery to devices, which are temporarily offline (e.g. a phone whose battery has died). Message history is strictly stored in your own devices.

What is stored in the Signal's server?
Additional technical information is stored on Signal servers, including randomly generated authentication tokens, keys, push tokens, and other material that is necessary to establish calls and transmit messages.

Contacts: Signal can optionally discover which contacts in your address book are  other users, using a service designed to protect the privacy of your contacts. Information from the contacts on your device may be cryptographically hashed and transmitted to the server in order to determine which of your contacts are registered.

Managing your information. You can manage your personal information in application Settings.
For example, you can update your profile information or choose to enable additional privacy features like a Registration Lock PIN.

                        Contact List Prominent Disclosure:

Does our app send user's number to other contacts?
Our app that relies on Signal platform does not send your phone number to anyone unless you send them a message or make a call to them, and neither does the signal service have any knowledge of your contacts. Data is all owned by your phone. Registration notifications are never transmitted by anyone in any direction at all; these notifications are created by your phone.

How does Hell.O App know contacts are using this app?
Our app through Signal's private contact discovery process enables Signal clients to efficiently and scalably determine whether the contacts in their address book are Signal users without revealing the contacts in their address book to the Signal service. Once your phone knows which of your contacts is a Signal user, it can optionally notify you when a new contact has started using Signal.

Why did someone see that I joined Signal?
People who already know your number and already have you in their contacts see that they can contact you on Signal. Nothing is sent to them by your Signal app or the Signal service. They just see a number they know is registered. If someone knows how to send you an insecure SMS, we want them to see that they can send you a Signal message instead.

Why did I see that my contact joined Signal?
You are notified when someone that is stored in your contact list is a new Signal user. If you can send an insecure SMS to a contact, we want you to know you can send a Signal message instead.

How do I disable alerts that my contact joined Signal?
You can disable these alerts on your phone by going to Signal Settings profile_avatar.png > Notifications > scroll to Notify when... and disable Contact joins Signal.
